13 Questions!

1. WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST EXTRAVAGANCE?
Two things: cups of Green Tea from The Bean on Broadway and 12th, and comic books from the Forbidden Planet.

2. WHEN AND WHERE WERE YOU HAPPIEST?
Sharing a bottle of cheap champagne on the roof of a friend's apartment in September, on a deflating air-mattress, with the NYC nighttime skyline surrounding us.
Singing Train's song Drops of Jupiter in the car with my Dad on the way home from a softball game when I was about 9. Sun shining, windows down, top of our lungs.
Walking into Versailles's Hall of Mirrors. The way that room sparkles and refracts light is stunning; it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

3. YOUR FAVORITE WORD?
Aspire.

4. IF YOU WERE BEING ARRESTED FOR COMMITTING A
CRIME, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Trespassing: I'd sleep over night in the Metropolitan Museum's Temple of Dendur.

5. YOUR MOST TREASURED POSSESSION?
My star necklace. It's a family heirloom that my grandmother passed on to me on my 13th birthday. I wear it everyday.

6. YOUR FAVORITE POEMS? PLAYS? BOOKS?
'Once by the Pacific' by Robert Frost; 'For Desire' by Kim Addonizio; 'Angels of the Get Through' and 'Maybe I Need You' by Andrea Gibson.
'Antigone' by Jean Anouilh; 'Romeo and Juliet' by Shakespeare; 'The Place We Built' by Sarah Gancher.
Books...that's impossible! But, 'Redwall' by Brian Jaques was the first book I ever loved; and I've recently fallen for Victor Hugo's 'The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.'

7. THE SONG YOU NEVER SKIP ON YOUR IPOD?
Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap, and
Liz On Top of The World from the Pride and Prejudice Soundtrack.

8. YOUR QUIRKS?
I don't own an umbrella. I am a vegetarian. My favorite shoes are a pair of studded combat boots. My last name, 'Roze,' is pronounced 'rose.' I love gargoyles, and have favorites in NYC.

9. YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME?
There are two: Lord of the Rings and La Vie en Rose

10.  GREATEST STRENGTH?
I am driven. I was practically raised in a pool, swimming on a competitive team at least five times per week from the age of 7 to 17. Dedication, team spirit, and the ability to force oneself to work harder when tired were all drilled into the fabric of my being.

11. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN NYC?
Studio 5 in the Tisch Building at 6:30 am, when I am beginning my morning practice. The entire building is all mine and really quiet. The sun comes up through the windows and I can see down Waverly Street.

12. WHAT THING ABOUT YOU SURPRISES PEOPLE?
My fanatical love of stage combat.

13. WHAT'S YOUR PERFECT SNOW DAY?
Reading in bed, then meeting my friends in Central Park for a snowball fight, and bringing everyone back to my apartment to watch the Maltese Falcon in a fort of sheets with mugs of hot cocoa.
